Baltimore, MD100% On-SiteSalary: $70,000–$80,000A well-established construction company in the Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. Fully in-office role with flexibility for personal needs when needed.Staff Accountant Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required). 1-3 years of accounting experience (or strong internship experience). Solid understanding of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentals. Construction or manufacturing accounting exposure is a plus. Experience with Viewpoint Vista is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.Staff Accountant Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries. Apply cash receipts and support AR functions. Assist with billing for the manufacturing entity. Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization and depreciation. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns. Support month-end close and general ledger activities.
