This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today!\n\nAssembly Responsibilities:\n- Read and follow work order instructions\n- Use pallet jack to move pallets of product to different locations\n- Use automatic saws to cut tubing and pipes, hosing–chop saws, and manual saws\n- Read blueprints for cutting and building the parts\n- Take piece of tubing and expand it within the exact tolerance specifications\n- Cut, trim, and attach braided metal and attach to hoses\n- Measure, compute and verify lengths of parts and drilling holes\n- Log individual jobs into the system to track time and participate in time studies\n- Place labels precisely on the product\n- Watch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being met\n- Notify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are low\n- Communicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like manner\n\nRequirements for Assembly:\n- High School Diploma or equivalent\n- Able to stand for extended periods of time; shift duration 8 to 10 hours\n- Able to bend, turn and reach throughout shift\n- Able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 35-50 lbs occasionally\n- Able to work weekend and overtime hours as needed\n- Accurate counting and basic math skills\n- Able to work with hand tools, cutting machines, expander machines, presses, rollers\n- Able to learn and read blueprints\n\nIND050\n\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
