{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9d75725dd5c48fae308799dc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9d75725dd5c48fae308799dc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9d75725dd5c48fae308799dc","title":"Material Handler","description":"a *Job Description*\n\n*Department:* Production\n\n*Job Position:* Material Handler\n\n*Reports To*: Shift Supervisor\n\nPay start at $18.50, after a successful 60-day training period, rate would go to $20.\n\n*Authority:* All employees have the authority to stop operations/production for the following three reasons: 1) a quality defect, 2) an unsafe act, or 3) a health hazard.\n\nThe schedule for 1st shift is Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm\n\n*Job Competencies/Duties (include, but are not limited to):*\n\n*Competencies: *\n\nBe able to lift 401bs\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent work-related experience\n\nForklift truck operation\n\nSoftware used to track inventory\n\nStand for at least 8 hours\n\nWell-organized and self-motivated\n\n*Job Duties:*\n\nTransport material (virgin or regrind resin, colorant, packaging materials, etc.) to the press and ensure that the material reporting form is accurately up to date.\n\nReport for work, clock in at the scheduled time, and be at their workstation/area on time\n\nHelps with rework of parts as needed\n\nAlways Keep machine hoppers full (verify the specific material before loading hoppers).\n\nTilt gaylords as needed to ensure all material gets loaded.\n\nClean any material spills on the machine or around the machine due to loading, purging, or any other handling.\n\nGive press operators breaks as needed.\n\nClean grinders and hoppers in detail as needed.\n\nGrind runners & scrap parts & assure no contamination takes place.
