{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9d6160f4f6b404f5be2b5744","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9d6160f4f6b404f5be2b5744","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9d6160f4f6b404f5be2b5744","title":"Python Test Engineer","description":"Python Test Engineer\nWaltham, MA\nOnsite Role\nResponsibilities include:\nDesign, develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality of the product by proving system functionality, verify business and user requirements are met in Electrophysiology domain area.\nManual execution of tests or execute automated test scripts.\nCreate, execute automated test scripts.\nDebug and fix issues on the automated test scripts within its verification points.\nDebug and fix issues that may be related to the automation framework.\nExecute automation runs to test JIRA items and coordinate with multiple scrum teams.\nDesign and develop new websites to support test automation.\nEnsure that tests have been conducted in accordance with written procedures.\nDocument test results and write test reports.\nDiagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements in a bug tracking system.\nShare knowledge and demonstrate product areas to other team members on ad hoc basis.\nAssist in determining test methodology, test strategy, and test data setup.\nParticipate in daily scrum meetings, product review meetings, bug triage meetings etc.\nWork closely with software development team, hardware engineering team, field support team, and other cross-functional teams.\nQuality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:\nBuild Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.\nBasic Qualifications:\nPrior programming experience in Python is required.\nExperience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Squish.\nPrior experience with source code management tool such as Git and Bitbucket.\nExperience working in Agile Scrum development environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA strong product quality and testing experience preferably in medical device domain.\nWorking knowledge of test automation under Linux/Unix environment.\nA natural attention to detail and a penchant for organizing and documenting.\nA good learner who can master complex software and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.\nExperience working in Agile Scrum development environment.\nAbility to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment.\nAbility to work independently as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.\nFollow company policy regarding ISO and FDA documentation and compliance for medical device.\nJob Types: Full-time, Contract\nPay: $49.90 -
