Responsibilities include maintaining a coordinated physical site security program and conducting investigations and analysis of safety and security incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.\r\nSecurity Operations & Program ManagementMonitor and follow up on key performance indicators (KPIs) as directed by the line manager.\r\nParticipate in all aspects of security operations, including personnel and property protection, intrusion detection, access control, and CCTV systems.\r\nConduct weekly verification of security technology systems and report ineffective or malfunctioning equipment.\r\nRegularly verify adherence to access control procedures and protocols.\r\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulations and the application of company security policies.\r\nPrevent, detect, and report loss or theft of company property.\r\nMaintain strict confidentiality of business operations, systems, and sensitive information.\r\nServe as backup to the Regional Corporate Security Manager and ensure continuity of all security operations in their absence.\r\nInvestigations, Loss Prevention & FraudSupport surveys related to damaged, missing, or stolen goods during transport or within logistics centers.\r\nParticipate in investigations and analysis of security and safety incidents to determine cause and recommend preventive measures.\r\nSupport and coordinate investigations of fraudulent activities or policy/ethics violations, aligning findings with the Regional Corporate Security Manager.\r\nInvestigate warehouse shrink outside acceptable ranges and propose action plans to remediate and reduce shrinkage.\r\nExecute programs to prevent inventory loss and controllable losses.\r\nCompile, document, and present investigative reports to the line manager.\r\nCompliance, Audits & Risk AssessmentsDevelop and coordinate security policies with the line manager in support of TD SYNNEX Worldwide Minimum Security Standards and/or TAPA FSR A compliance.\r\nParticipate in annual security and safety audits, as well as risk and threat assessments at logistics centers and carrier hubs within the assigned region.\r\nTraining & Stakeholder CollaborationConduct regular security awareness training for TD SYNNEX employees.\r\nMaintain direct relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Carrier Security teams.\r\nCollaborate with stakeholders to reduce LIT figures and deliver reporting and recommendations to Corporate Security leadership and the Logistics Director.\r\nWork collaboratively with law enforcement agencies to investigate and resolve internal and external theft or fraud cases.\r\nLeadership, Response & TravelManage and supervise security personnel at logistics centers.\r\nAct as first responder to urgent security breaches (e.g., intrusion alarms), which may require travel to other sites.\r\nBe available for short-notice travel within the designated region to address urgent security needs.\r\nDevelop a local network of professional security contacts within the logistics environment to enhance business and security intelligence.\r\nParticipate in security-related professional organizations to remain current on industry trends and issues.\r\nPerform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Corporate Security Manager.\r\nWhat We're Looking ForDemonstrated knowledge, experience, competence, and ability to perform all listed responsibilities.\r\nAbility to work cross-functionally, independently, or virtually in a fast-paced, minimally structured environment.\r\nExperience managing investigations, including complex and highly sensitive cases, as part of an enterprise-wide security team.\r\nAdvanced computer skills.\r\nAbility to communicate clearly, professionally, and diplomatically.\r\nProven ability to identify problems and propose cost-effective, SMART solutions.\r\nAbility to think strategically and tactically.\r\nDemonstrated traits of self-motivation, professionalism, trustworthiness, teamwork, and respect for others.\r\nSecurity professional with extensive supply chain and logistics expertise.\r\nStrong understanding of physical security principles and their role in mitigating risks to people, assets, and information.\r\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to present actionable insights and execute findings.\r\nExperience leading teams; regional experience is a strong advantage.\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to build credibility with stakeholders and strengthen the safety and security network.\r\nKey Skills\r\nSecurity Management\r\nAt TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
