The incumbent will exhibit a skilled perspective when identifying and delivering effective solutions, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.\n\nDay in the Life\n\nWork in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.\nDevelop basic to complex Java code & designs to maintain new and existing technology systems following company standards.\nAccountable to develop and deliver technical documentation.\nUndergo peer code and design reviews to ensure stable and high-quality production-ready code.\nBuild and maintain full stack Java applications that meet or exceed industry regulatory requirements.\nFoster and maintain high collaboration with team members, other technical colleagues, and business partners from across the organization.\nEnsure compliance with established SDLC frameworks, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, release management, and deployment.\nAbility to gradually take on more development tasks as learning increases.\nExercise discretion and good judgment in making decisions.\nLead a team with meeting project commitments, such as project goals, objectives, and corresponding delivery dates.\nProvide engineering leadership and mentorship to junior level engineers that are globally dispersed.\nEnsure compliance with all the audit and security requirements of the company.\nReview code for complex maintainability, coding standards and security issues.\nParticipate and follow established Agile standards (including attending all Agile events) to create a collaborative and efficient development environment and meet project goals and delivery dates.\nFoster innovation to improve on existing challenges and to realize new opportunities.\nEffectively collaborate with Architects to develop and review intended solutions.\nAbility to travel as needed to perform position responsibilities.\nAvailability to be on-call as needed\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related technology field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nSeven years professional work experience in software development required. (Java)\nTwo years of experience performing as a subject matter expert.\nProficiency in using Angular to code the UI\nProficiency as a Java full-stack software engineer preferably with knowledge in two or more modern programming languages.
