This role focuses on high-accuracy data entry, Salesforce item setup, and engineering data validation to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems. The position works closely with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to maintain data integrity and support decision-making through analysis.\nProject Oversight: Cross-Regional Engineering Lead Consultant\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nData Entry & System Management\nCreate and maintain item numbers and variants in Salesforce\nSupport onboarding processes with accurate and timely data entry\nMaintain organized and up-to-date records across systems\nEngineering Data Management\nInput and manage engineering data, including mold cavitation, bill of materials, and technical specifications\nEnsure consistency of data across documents and systems\nReview technical documentation for completeness and accuracy\nAnalyze data within documents to ensure accuracy (e.g., weight calculations, OFC/NFC comparisons)\nCompare new packaging data against existing packages identified by the engineering team\nPerform basic mathematical validations and cross-checks in Excel\nCost Analysis\nPull and analyze package costing data\nCompare new vs. existing package costs and identify differences\nSupport teams with data-driven insights for decision-making\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Product Management, or a related field\n2-5 years of experience in data analysis, engineering support, or operations\nVery strong attention to detail and extremely high level of accuracy\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic analysis, data organization)\nExperience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred\nStrong numerical and analytical skills\nComfortable working with technical and engineering data sets\nPreferred Backgrounds\nEngineering (Packaging, Mechanical, or related)\nFinance or Accounting\nProject Management\nData analysis or operations support roles\nCore Competencies\nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nOrganizational skills and ability to manage high volumes of data\nEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration\nWORK ENVIRONMENT & EXPECTATIONS\nIdeal candidate resides in Dallas and can work a hybrid schedule: minimum 3 days per week in the office\nEight-hour days. 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM work schedule with 1-hr for lunch\nFast-paced environment supporting multiple programs simultaneously\nHigh level of ownership for data accuracy and integrity\nENGAGEMENT TERMS\nW2 only - No C2C arrangements\nUnable to sponsor work authorization now or in the future\nNo third-party agencies or suppliers for this role\n\nnextSource is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
