{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9d2d65ad8a43b795c6bac007","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9d2d65ad8a43b795c6bac007","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9d2d65ad8a43b795c6bac007","title":"PROCESS CONTROL INSPECTOR","description":"Essential Duties & Responsibilities:\nAudit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and specifications.\nConduct inspections on products at all stages of the exhaust manufacturing process.\nDocument and report inspection findings and results in the BMS via Task entries.\nPerform mechanical, dimensional and visual/cosmetic inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per Inspection Plans and Specification requirements.\nPerform product identification and traceability activities, as required.\nWork with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.\nCommunicate/interface with:\nProduct Managers to ensure product is in compliance with Specifications.\nArea Supervisors/Team Leads on non-conformities that have originated in their area of responsibility.\nDocument information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs.\nComply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.\nAdopt and demonstrate K&N’s Cultural Principles\nExperience, Skills & Education:\nAbility to read and interpret welding symbols and weld prints.\nAbility to read and verify dimensional engineering prints.\nExperience Level: minimum of one year in an exhaust manufacturing or similar environment.\nMust possess basic writing skills.\nAdditional Qualities Necessary:\nBasic computer skills (familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word) required.\nUnderstanding and use of basic measuring tools (Calipers, micrometer & angle gage) required.\nMust be able to routinely navigate a business management system, read work instructions, and document work output in English.\nMust be able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously.\nLearn and develop competency in K&N’s Business Management System (BMS)\nMust be detail oriented and well organized.\nMust demonstrate ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize, follow through on all tasks and projects, and meet pre-determined deadlines with limited supervision\nWork Schedule Information:\nOur work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 4:00am-2:30pm\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
