Software Engineer, Developer Productivity / Builder ToolsOne of the most ambitious manufacturing technology companies in the U.S. is hiring a Software Engineer to help build the internal tooling and CI/CD foundation powering every engineering team across the business.A rapidly scaling manufacturing and automation company is rebuilding critical American industrial infrastructure through software, robotics, and AI. Backed by top-tier investors and expanding aggressively with a newly launched 290,000 sq ft facility, the company is building the next generation of autonomous manufacturing systems across aerospace, defense, and maritime production. Their long-term vision is far bigger than producing individual parts — they’re building vertically integrated factories powered by software.The role:You’ll join the Builder Tools team focused on making engineers faster.This is a highly leveraged engineering role where you’ll own the tooling, pipelines, and developer workflows that sit underneath the entire software organization. Think CI/CD infrastructure, internal developer platforms, automation tooling, and AI-assisted engineering systems.What you’ll work on:• Building and maintaining shared CI/CD pipeline libraries• Internal developer tooling, APIs, CLIs, and automation systems• AI-assisted development workflows and infrastructure for coding agents• Improving SDLC efficiency and reducing engineering friction• Developer productivity metrics and tooling observability• Partnering directly with product and platform engineering teamsTech stack / background:• 5–8 years of software engineering experience• Strong experience with CI/CD, build systems, or developer tooling• Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages• Docker + Kubernetes/container orchestration• Experience with modern software delivery infrastructure• Strong debugging/troubleshooting fundamentalsHuge pluses:• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or AI coding agents• Developer experience / engineering productivity initiatives• GitOps, automated PR tooling, static analysis, etc.• Startup or high-growth environment experienceThis is a chance to help define the future of AI-assisted software development inside a company operating at the intersection of manufacturing, robotics, defense, and automation.Compensation$175K–$250K base + meaningful equity + full benefitsAbout Code Red PartnersAt Code Red Partners, we’re deeply committed to working with equal-opportunity employers and helping to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
