This role is a contract position and will support the buildout of a scalable risk data infrastructure and reporting environment.\nThis position is ideal for a hands-on data engineer with a strong technical foundation who enjoys building systems from the ground up and working closely with business stakeholders. The right candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights.\nRequired:\nStrong experience designing data architecture, data models, and scalable database solutions\nHands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for both real-time and batch data processing\nProficiency in Python and SQL within modern data engineering environments\nExperience with cloud-based data platforms and tools such as Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar\nAbility to work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting risk analytics or financial data environments\nFamiliarity with trading workflows or risk concepts, such as market, credit, or operational risk\nExperience building automated reporting or dashboard solutions using BI tools\nBackground in financial services or fintech environments\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex data challenges\nThis is a strong opportunity to play a key role in building a modern data foundation that supports risk visibility and business decision-making.
