The Manager, Quality Assurance (QA) will provide leadership and direction to ensure the quality standards exceed the customers’ expectations for quality, durability and performance. The incumbent will assist the Director of Global Sourcing in the development and maintenance of strategic supplier partnerships through the use of supplier assessments, supplier scorecards, on-site source inspections, and coaching to achieve Lean Supply Chain best practices.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Develop and implement integrated quality management systems (QMS) across multiple product categories (Fabric, plastics, electronics, extruded metals)
Manage QA team and coordinate inspections, audits, and tests across departments and projects
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle
Review and approve product category-specific quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements
Ensure all quality activities are conducted in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and contractual requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, API, IEC)
Support regulatory, certification, and customer audits as required
Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to quality standards
Plan and execute a systematic approach to review all work quality related process documents, ensuring alignment with requirements and ERP system
Lead effort in preparing the organization to achieve and maintain ISO certifications
Establish and own quality related metrics and KPIs for US Operations. Ensure targets are communicated and achieved
Prepare quality reports, metrics, and KPIs for senior management and operations leadership
Establish and maintain policies and procedures that govern quality processes
Bring together associates of different disciplines and drive the group to plan and implement comprehensive processes and initiatives that deliver results
Prepare detailed, internal and external, audit records summarizing audit observations, findings, conclusions, any proposed new quality controls and any follow-up actions to be taken
Provide prompt corrective action responses for all customer complaints
Conduct quality assurance investigations of non-conforming products and processes, including identifying underlying causes, and developing and coordinating recommended corrective actions
Lead team in maintaining a clean and organized work area using 6S principles and enforce all safety rules
Develop and maintain Supplier Quality Manual establishing minimum quality requirements for suppliers of production materials, products and services
Lead and develop associates to establish and maintain a culture and policies and procedures that support the company’s core values of Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Accountability, and Innovative
Train quality associates on quality procedures and best practices
Execute people and performance management to drive career development, team productivity and align workforce to support achievement of company strategies
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to associates and leaders within Sales, Product Management, Materials & Planning, and IT, to share information as appropriate, develop consistent practices and reporting, share and implement best practices
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering field or applied science required
Minimum 5 years prior experience in a leadership role within Quality.
Minimum 5 years leading and managing a team
Experience should center around – Extruded metals, electronics, plastics and fabric. A huge plus if a candidate possesses experience in all areas
Experience implementing ISO standards and utilizing a quality management system
Demonstrated experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives & Kaizen Events
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus

Working knowledge of MS office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
