Flexo Press Operator
We are seeking a skilled Flexo Press Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves operating and assisting with flexographic printing equipment to produce high-quality corrugated containers. Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses for production runs.
Ensure print quality meets customer specifications by making adjustments to color, alignment, and registration as needed.
Maintain machinery by performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
Load and unload materials such as ink, plates, and substrates to the press.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or printing issues during the production process.
Accurately measure and cut materials using tape measures and other basic tools.
Work efficiently under tight deadlines, meeting production goals while maintaining a high level of quality.
Handle and stack finished products and materials.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience as a Flexo Press Operator is preferred, but candidates with related manufacturing experience will be considered.
Shifts: Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift with mandatory overtime as needed.
Attendance: Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks involving walking, squatting, kneeling, and twisting.
Skills: Ability to read and interpret job tickets, follow detailed instructions, and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
