This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, or Tampa, FL, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US\nBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education\nAt least 2 years of Information Technology experience\nExperience with PostgreSQL Database Administration\nConduct: database health check list for Day-to-Day Activities.\nAll applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nReplication Tools experience is a plus: PostgreSQL, and Streaming Replication\nBackup & Recovery\nPerformance Tuning\nRestore Operations experience is a benefit.\nProvide production support based on a ticketing system.\nPerformed database refresh activities for business requirement and tuning purposes\nExcellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation\nExtraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills\nHands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources\nExceptional Organizational Skills\nAbility to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently\nReadiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude\nSolid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required\nAbility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment\n\nThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
