We are looking for talented and motivated individuals with skills in these areas that can help us achieve our mission.\nThis position is for a Test and Evaluation Engineer on the Tactical Systems Test and Evaluation (TS T&E) Branch within the Product Assurance and Test (PA&T) Directorate in GVSC. This position would be collocated in PEO CS&CSS under JPO JLTV as non-embedded support.\nDuties of the position:\n· Responsible for the development of program’s T&E strategy, approach, process, schedule, and resource requirements. In addition, managing the implementation of an evaluation methodology and framework for product/system under test.\n· Ability to work in a collaborative environment with product managers, logistics, contracting, along with multiple external Government organizations to include Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), the User Representative, and other Product Offices along with the defense industry.\n· Responsible for the day-to-day management of test activities at major test site(s) (e.g. Aberdeen Test Center), including resolution of test execution issues, chairing of daily test update meetings, management of contractor on-site PM test representatives, tracking of test progress, etc.\n· Must have strong writing skills to generate scopes of tests, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), schedules, and to assist in generating technical documentation in support of Milestone Decisions and Material Release.\n· Have a working knowledge of program management (program planning, execution, risk management, configuration management, metrics, earned value systems, issue resolution).\n· Travel occasionally (up to 25%) to the test sites in support of related meetings and test events\n· Provide technical advice and knowledge of program, system engineering and value management technologies.\n· Review and analyze system performance against requirements for the application and integration of improved designs into the system.\n· Develop and present data for reviews to provide timely and accurate reporting and program status to internal/external elements.\n· Manage test cost, schedule, scope and risk throughout the program lifecycle.\n· Integrate program management processes to align with engineering standards and perform effective execution and compliance with established program decisions.\nSpecialized Experience:\n· Experience with Transportability Testing and requirements generation, to include MIL-STD-209K and MIL-STD 1366 testing, as well as Helicopter Sling Load and Low Velocity Aerial Delivery testing.\n· Ability to interface with the transportability stakeholders within the T&E WIPT, including DEVCOM SC, SDDC-TEA and ATTLA, and determine transportability testing needs to maintain/achieve certifications for land, sea, and air transport.\nKey Skills (KSAs):\n· Demonstrated program management skills\n· Demonstrated resource management skills\n· Demonstrated communication skills (oral & written)\n· Knowledge and experience with SE Process\n· Demonstrated problem solving skill with emphasis on analysis, COA development and decision presentation\n· Demonstrated ability to apply T&E best practices\n· Demonstrated ability in developing and reporting programmatic (Cost, Schedule, Performance of T&E Programs)\n· Knowledge of the PEO/PM structure and organizations\n· Knowledge of the CCDC structure and organization, with emphasis on GVSC\nHow to Apply:\nIf you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please e-mail a resume and transcripts to: usarmy.detroit.devcom-gvsc.mbx.g1-resumes-for-sie-gses@army.mil.
