Java Software Application Development Engineer","description":"Senior Java Software Application Development Engineer\r\nA Senior Application Engineer with strong expertise in the development and maintenance of enterprise level, Java JEE based systems.\r\nThe candidate will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining the KYCView application used by our Compliance business.\r\nDuties will include designing and developing new application features / code within the existing application framework, and researching, identifying, and devising solutions for software defects within the application.\r\nKYCView is written in Java, and involves the integration of JEE, web services, Oracle, IBM BPM and ODM, and MQ.\r\nDemonstrated expertise in analyzing and understanding existing application architectures, and developing solutions within a pre-existing framework, is a must.\r\nThe Client is looking for a seasoned Java professional with 7 to 12 years plus expertise in working Java.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign and development of enhancements within KYCView application framework\r\nResearch and resolve defects during all phases of the software development cycle\r\nSupport and execute functional and performance testing\r\nAssists in troubleshooting production environment and tuning the environments\r\nProvides guidance on infrastructure and environment setup\r\nEnsures technical best practices are followed during all phases of the project\r\nProvides guidance on intended solution and best practices during development, configuration and testing phases\r\nPerforms code reviews and ensures standards are applied to each solution component\r\nQualifications Required\r\nStrong, disciplined analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nMust have at least 10 + years of experience in design, implementation, and audit / review of systems applications, and code\r\nExtensive Java, JEE n-tier application experience\r\nExperience in design, implementation, and audit / review of enterprise wide, large scale implementations.\r\nKnowledge and experience with, WAS, AngularJS 1.x and AngularJS5.0, JavaScript, Java, JPA (Open JPA), Spring Hibernate, CSS, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, NodeJS, XML, Servlet and JSP.\r\nExperience with SOAP and REST based WebService development.\r\nDesigned Application in Object Oriented Programming Methodology [OOP] using Component Methodology (Top Down), Catalysis Methodology (Bottom Up).\r\nExperience in Spring IOC and J2EE CDI and should have developed application using \"Enterprise Architecture Models\".\r\nGood experience in recognizing and reusing Design Patterns -GOF, J2EE design patterns, Architectural patterns, SOA Design Patterns, Enterprise Integration Patterns.\r\nExperience with WebSphere Application server is required.\r\nGood knowledge on logical and physical Data Modeling using normalizing Techniques.\r\nGood knowledge of automated CI build and deployment infrastructure and processes for multiple projects using tools like Jenkins ,CARA,GIT and Stash.\r\nBS/BA degree in Computer Science or related work experience required.\r\nStrong Hands on experience in business object modeling using Hibernate/JPA.\r\nYou must have eligibility to work in the United States.\r\nThis is a 12 month contract assignment.\r\nThe Client and the role is based in downtown New York,
