(Other duties may be assigned):\n\nMaintains safe work practices at all times and participates in safety programs.\n\nChanges water knives as needed.\n\nPerforms waste evaluations and changes grader screens as needed.\n\nOperates equipment and makes adjustments as needed.\n\nMaintains even lineflow.\n\nMonitors and maintains product quality and attributes.\n\nCommunicates with other personnel: line status, quality, and other problems.\n\nMust understand function and hazards of various cleaning chemicals, and must be able to perform various product testing procedures.\n\nMust be able to work independently.\n\nShoveling product spills.\n\nCompletes production forms as required.\n\nEnters checks into computer.\n\nOther Job Functions\n\nSanitation of area.\n\nBreaking of other areas.\n\nPerforms weekend cleanup as assigned.\n\nPerforms and participates in AMD drumbeats\n\nBasic & Preferred Qualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English. Ability to effectively present or listen to information in one-on-one and small group situations with all other employees of the organization in English\n\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.\n\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.\n\nOTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES\nTools and equipment used are as follows: high pressure hoses, shovels, squeegee, hammer, and hazardous chemicals.\n\nWork Environment\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
