Operator Trainee 1st/2nd Shift

Job Title: Material Handler/Machine Operator Job DescriptionThe candidate will work in the production department. Responsibilities include taking order sheets, retrieving product types and quantities listed, and bringing them to a conveyor belt. The role involves both loading and unloading packages, primarily medical products/devices, into totes for sterilization. On the loading side, the you will unwrap pallets, place products onto the conveyor belt, and input order details into a computer. The computer will display an image of how the product should be placed inside the totes. Once filled, the totes are sent for sterilization. On the unloading side, the candidate will unload sterilized products from the conveyor belt, palletize them using yellow shrink wrap to indicate they have been sterilized.Hard SkillsMechanical inclinationWarehouse experienceHand/power tool experience Soft SkillsAttention to detailAbility to follow instructionsOrganizational skillsWork Site.This is a fully on-site position in Gurnee, Illinois.Work EnvironmentThe role involves working a 12-hour rotating schedule.
