Our vision is to offer a wholistic outing for golfers and non-golfers alike, with The Clubhouse as a true social event space where people can gather, share, and enjoy comfort cuisine right from the bar or range bay.Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Head Cook to lead our woodfired pizza kitchen at abusy and welcoming clubhouse. This role combines culinary craftsmanship with leadership andis ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality, rustic cooking and thrives in a fast-paced,service-oriented environment. This is an hourly position with compensation based onexperience. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as well asflexible hours during peak golf season.Key Responsibilities• Oversee daily kitchen operations with a focus on woodfired pizza production• Prepare and cook pizzas using a woodfired oven, ensuring consistency and quality• Assist the Food & Beverage Operations Manager with inventory and cost controls• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization• Assist the Food & Beverage Operations Manager with staff training and management• Coordinate with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during golf hours andevents• Monitor kitchen equipment, especially the woodfired oven, ensuring proper use andmaintenanceQualifications• Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably with woodfired or artisan pizza• Leadership experience in a kitchen setting• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak golf season• Strong communication and organizational skills• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a high-heat environment
