You’ll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that values your ideas and contributions.\n\nSummary:\nEssential Functions and Competencies\n\nLearn tasks associated with PCB and systems assembly based on above levels\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nEffective interpersonal skills\nAbility to take on additional responsibilities as required\nEffective organization and prioritization skills\nDemonstrate high attention to detail\nDemonstrate discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company\nAbility to support a 24/7 global business operation as required\nAbility to work overtime when needed\nMay operate automatic and semi-automatic equipment as required (selective solder machine, wave machine, leaded insertion machine)\nAbility to work with and train diverse groups\nAccepting of opportunities to train on new equipment and to cross-train into other site operations, as needed\nParticipate in a continuous improvement activity\n\nResponsibilities:\nQualifications / Education / Experience\n\nRead and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems\nMay be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production\nRespond to written and verbal instructions\nObtain certifications on assigned equipment\nMaintain a clean work environment and follow all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling\nUse cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; Recognize all part markings including speed and values (ohms)\nAssist with line changeover\nIdentify feeder by size and type in SMT equipment\nDemonstrate the use of cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions and vendor\nRemove hazardous waste at the end of each shift and put in waste storage area, check to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use\nContinuously maintain a clean machine\nMay be involved with hazardous waste handling duties\nLevel II\n\nPerform all the essential functions and competencies listed above\nComplete process control charts used to monitor efficiency\nIdentify quality, material and process problems and communicate to proper personnel\nMay be certified to operate a variety of basic-intermediate complex equipment in production\nMentor and assist lesser qualified operators\nMay set-up and/or PM less complex equipment\nComplete process control charts used to monitor efficiency; Interpret chart patterns and use them as a tool to control processes\nMay be certified to operate a variety of complex equipment in production and considered a Master\nOffer solutions to engineering regarding equipment operation\nContinuously maintain a clean machine\nTroubleshoots, evaluate and correct minor machine problems where possible with nozzles, feeders, board supports, and sensors, in order to aid less skilled operators\nCollect data from Data Analyzer and use it for process efficiency ratios\nComplete and submit a machine fallout report\nIf responsible for feeder repair for SMT, repair bad feeders from bad feeder repair rack and document work performed into PFS; Maintain continuous flow of repairing bad feeders to maintain machine operation and utilize/maintain PFS database for proper cataloguing of feeder repair\nMay set-up and/or PM less complex equipment\nAll employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction. 2+ years of experience operating complex equipment; 2+ years of experience mentoring othersHigh School Diploma or GED Ability to read, write and perform basic math\n\nOther information:\nThis position is classified as safety-sensitive because impairment while performing job duties could pose a significant risk of harm.
