IT Endpoint Administrator

Description: Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis LLC (MD&A), one of the largest independent turbine repair organizations in the U.S., is looking to fill an immediate opening for an IT Endpoint Administrator. This position will support MD&A from our facility in Euclid, Ohio. Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis (MD&A) is a Subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), a world class supplier for power generation maintenance services, repairs, and parts in the utility and industrial industries. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the IT Endpoint Administrator will provide organization-wide support for troubleshooting of, but not limited to: PC systems, mobile devices, software, printing, and file sharing. This is an experienced role for someone looking to use their established IT knowledge in supporting back-office and manufacturing operations. Troubleshoots and resolves trouble tickets entered into the service desk software Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, & Endpoint Manager technologies Develop and Maintain documentation as it relates to functions and tasks of position After-Hours support required on rotating basis Installs and maintains PC systems and mobile devices Installs and maintains software Follows, maintains, and helps develop IT department standard operating procedures Trains users on software usage and best practices Troubleshoots and administers printers, copiers, and other IT equipment Troubleshoots and administers telephone sets Assists with new hire orientation regarding initial usage of information systems hardware and software Responsible for IT Inventory of company assets such as hardware and software Perform other such duties as may be required Other Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources. Requirements: Education and/or Experience: An Associates (AS) in Information Technology plus 2-3 years of IT related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience in IT. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: Complete knowledge of PC software and hardware configurations. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Networking, Anti-Virus, e-Mail, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to configure and troubleshoot printers in a network environment.
