Principal Appian Developer Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. In addition, this role and level will mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, work with our clients on the most technically challenging Appian programs, and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nLead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies\r\nGuide clients on Agile, QA, and governance for multi-app platform implementations\r\nSupport design, development, and test activities across multiple client projects\r\nSupport large scale implementation teams consisting of multiple development pods\r\nGuide clients on architecture design, platform scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success\r\nEnsure solutions are built for scale and performance\r\nCreate and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement\r\nProvide thought leadership on process improvement\r\nSupport internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools\r\nMentorship, training, and enablement of resources\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience with Appian solutions\r\n5+ years of related IT experience\r\nBachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area\r\nActive Lead Certification\r\nExpert experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology\r\nStrong technical design, implementation and problem-solving skills\r\nStrong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight\r\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a \"do whatever it takes attitude\")\r\nRDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)\r\nWeb services, integrations and middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)\r\nUS Citizenship required\r\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.
