This role is responsible for server provisioning, identity integration, networking, security hardening, monitoring, and backup/recovery\noperations within cloud and hybrid environments.\nThe ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure or AWS) and is comfortable with Windows Server administration, infrastructure-as-code practices, and cross-functional collaboration with security and operations teams.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nServer & Cloud Infrastructure\nProvision, configure, and maintain virtual machines and cloud compute resources (Azure VMs / EC2 instances).\nAdminister Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 in cloud and hybrid on-premises environments.\nManage storage resources including Azure Blob/File Storage, AWS S3/EBS/EFS, and backup vaults.\nConfigure and maintain load balancers, auto-scaling groups, and availability sets/zones.\nIdentity & Access Management\nSupport Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) or AWS IAM for user, group, role, and policy management.\nAssist with SSO integrations, conditional access policies, and MFA configuration.\nMaintain hybrid identity synchronization (Azure AD Connect or equivalent AWS Directory integrations).\nNetworking & Security:Monitoring, Alerting & Reportingvisibility.Backup, Recovery & PatchingManager, or Azure Update Manager.Incident Response & TroubleshootingDocumentation & Knowledge Sharing\nConfigure and manage virtual networks, subnets, NSGs/security groups, VPNs, and peering connections.\nApply security hardening baselines aligned with CIS Benchmarks or cloud provider best practices.\nSupport firewall rules, WAF configurations, and network access controls.\nBuild and maintain dashboards using Azure Monitor / AWS CloudWatch for resource and performance\nConfigure alerting thresholds and escalation workflows for infrastructure events.\nProduce operational reports on uptime, resource utilization, and cost efficiency.\nAdminister backup policies using Azure Backup / AWS Backup or third-party tooling.\nCoordinate and execute monthly patching cycles for cloud-hosted servers using WSUS, AWS SSM Patch\nParticipate in DR testing and validation exercises.\nRespond to and resolve infrastructure incidents for cloud-hosted server environments.\nPerform root cause analysis and document corrective/preventive actions.\nEscalate critical issues to Senior Engineers or Cloud Architects as needed.\nCreate and maintain operational SOPs, runbooks, and architecture documentation.\nUpdate configuration management records and asset inventories.\nContribute to team knowledge base and onboarding materials.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n3–5 years of professional experience in server administration or cloud infrastructure roles.\nHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:\nMicrosoft Azure: VMs, Azure AD/Entra ID, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, Azure BackupAmazon AWS: EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, AWS Backup / SSM\nStrong working knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.\nExperience with cloud networking concepts: VNet/VPC, subnets, security groups, DNS, VPN.\nFamiliarity with identity and access management (IAM, RBAC, MFA, SSO).\nUnderstanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts in cloud environments.\nExperience with monitoring and alerting tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, or equivalent).PREFERRED SKILLS\nActive cloud certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AWS SysOps Associate, or equivalent.\nKnowledge of Power Platform\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or Ansible).\nPowerShell or Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.\nMulti-cloud or hybrid environment experience (Azure + AWS simultaneously).\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online integration with Azure AD.\nExperience in regulated industries (government, healthcare, finance, or education).\nWorking knowledge of SIEM tools (Microsoft Sentinel, AWS Security Hub, or Splunk).\nSOFT SKILLS\nClear written and verbal communication;
