Read, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specificationsArrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site. Document issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor. Review contractor's baseline and progress schedulesDraft project related correspondence for NPS to reviewUnderstand and document inspections during and post construction as well as mock-up inspectionsCapture high-resolution photos documenting progress and key milestones. Photos must be cataloged and linked to specific project phases for easy retrieval and reference. Inspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standardsDeliver reports, reviews, evaluations, design work, etc. to COReview and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow upRegularly observe PG&E’s project schedule and assess progress against critical milestones and project timelinesRequired Education, Knowledge and Skills:Education and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, and engineeringProficiency in interpreting and applying contract documents, including drawings, technical specifications, Division 01 requirements, and building codesKnowledge of utility service provider operations, including major electrical service work under franchise agreements, special use permits, or similar frameworks.
