Automation Engineering Project Manager

A repeat client is looking for someone to lead a team of automation engineers delivering HMI/PLC-based control systems for municipal and industrial water and wastewater clients. You'll oversee project delivery, grow client relationships, and help develop the next generation of automation professionals.What you'll doManage and mentor a multi-location team of automation engineersLead projects from planning through commissioning — on scope, schedule, and budgetPrepare proposals, meet with clients, and support business developmentOversee configuration and programming of industrial control systemsMaintain quality control and produce technical documentation and reportsRepresent the firm at industry events and professional organizationsWhat we're looking forBS in Electrical Engineering or related field7+ years in control systems for municipal or industrial projects3+ years in a project management roleHands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI, networking, and cybersecurityTexas PE license, or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 monthsStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
