Medical Lab Technician

Job TitleWe are currently seeking a friendly full-time lab technician to join our busy OB/GYN practice.Testing Consists Of:Microscopic wet mounts and fern testsDipstick urinalysis and manual microscopyUrine pregnancy testsGlucose and hemoglobin testing via finger-stick method and phlebotomyPhlebotomy for various send-out testsQualifications:EMR (AthenaNet) and OB/GYN experienceMust be able to work independently and in a group settingEfficiency and close attention to detailSolid critical thinking skillsStrong communication, both verbal and writtenAppropriate and efficient prioritization of tasksCustomer service skillsEducation:Completion of an associate's degree or bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionLicense Required:ASCP or AMT certificationMonday - Friday. No weekends or nights. Certain holidays off.
