Job Description SummaryRole SummaryThe South East Region Team Lead supports the Service Manager in driving regional execution, operational discipline, and customer satisfaction. This role combines field service execution with regional operational leadership to help ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of service commitments across the region.The Team Lead supports daily execution activities while assisting in the management of business performance, customer relationships, team capability, and operational consistency. This position requires strong technical expertise, customer focus, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities in a fast-paced field service environment.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesExecution Leadership Support the service manager with execution to include supporting the following activities.Will need for focus on executing the following task activities:Coordinate regional service execution activities, including R3, IKO, EKO, purchasing, and supplier procurementSupport outage planning, resource scheduling, and execution readiness activitiesAssist in managing project scope, execution changes, and field issue resolutionRespond to customer callouts, emergent service requests, and execution escalationsSupport development of service quotations, proposals, and execution planning activitiesPartner with project management, engineering, sourcing, and field teams to ensure on-time and on-scope project executionProvide technical guidance and support during field service activities, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and startup effortsAssist field engineers and craft labor with technical issue resolution and execution coordinationSupport execution reporting, milestone tracking, and customer communication activitiesOperational LeadershipSupport the field service team on operation leadership to include supporting the following activities.Support the Service Manager in driving regional operational performance and business KPIsReview and audit field engineering deliverables including time reports, trip reports, timesheets, software updates, redlines, and punch list completionSupport invoicing, revenue recognition, WIP management, and ECA tracking activitiesBuild and maintain strong customer, supplier, and business partner relationshipsSupport team development across technical, operational, and customer-facing capabilitiesDrive operating discipline, compliance, quality, and execution consistency across the regionSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to execution efficiency, safety, and customer satisfactionAssist with workforce planning, onboarding, mentoring, and field resource coordinationIdentify risks, execution gaps, and improvement opportunities and escalate appropriatelyQualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or college; or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of industry experienceMinimum of 4 years of field engineering or field service experience in power generation, industrial automation, DCS, PLC, or related environmentsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems from field devices through control systems and network layersProven ability to build credibility and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, project managers, and engineering teamsStrong customer focus with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, geographically dispersed team environmentStrong technical knowledge in one or more of the following:Steam turbine control systemsCombustion turbine control systemsHydro turbine systemsExcitation and generator protection systemsPower plant balance of plant (BOP) systemsEquipment installation and commissioning in these technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCustomer-facing experience in field service, project management, or customer support environmentsValid driver’s license and passport, or ability to obtainAbility and willingness to travel as required to support regional execution activitiesDesired QualificationsPrior industrial field service experience in power generation or industrial automation environmentsControls experience with prime mover equipmentHands-on electronics, instrumentation, and/or mechanical troubleshooting experienceFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, TCP/IP configuration, and industrial software toolsAbility to learn and apply software tools supporting HMI and application changes, including Cimplicity, Intellution, Toolbox, and GAPPrior mechanical maintenance or outage experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive resultsDemonstrated ability to lead by influence and support team developmentExperience supporting outage execution, commissioning, or startup activitiesMinimum of 1 year of nuclear experience, if applicable to the business unitAdditional InformationGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
