Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe site operations. Responsibilities Operate construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks with precision and safety awareness. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment such as hydraulic systems, mechanical parts, and safety features to ensure optimal performance. Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like front loaders, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and ensure smooth workflow across construction phases. Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks for compliance purposes. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, excavators, cranes (including crane operation), and backhoes. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, construction site safety procedures, and equipment maintenance best practices. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including material handling and site preparation. Familiarity with commercial truck driving including operation of dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and other related vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations and occupational health standards while operating heavy equipment. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and efficient operation. Join us in building the future!
