Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and ensuring patient comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and adherence to laboratory procedures. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical laboratory operations and contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients. Duties Perform venipunctures and capillary blood collections with precision using aseptic techniques. Ensure accurate labeling and handling of blood samples for laboratory analysis. Monitor patients during the blood draw process, providing reassurance and care. Record vital signs and patient information accurately in medical records. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in the training of new staff on proper phlebotomy techniques and laboratory procedures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient service and care. Qualifications Proven experience in patient care, preferably in a clinical or laboratory setting. Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical laboratory practices. Proficient in blood sampling techniques and familiar with various laboratory procedures. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on patient service and communication. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Certification in phlebotomy or relevant training is mandatory. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring is advantageous.
