The candidate will have experience in gas distribution and transmission and registered as a PE in the state of FL.\nJob Description:\nThe client offers a broad range of professional, engineering, and technical services to the telecommunications and power delivery markets.\nThe client has a current opening for a Senior Gas Distribution Engineer, which includes: Communications Design Services, Energy Distribution Services, Utility Pole Inspection, and Environmental Services.\nResponsibilities:\nThe Senior Engineer will act as, project engineer or project manager\nDirect a multi-discipline design team to meet project schedules and deadlines\nPerform standard engineering analysis and provide recommendations associated with gas capacity requests, system operating procedures, equipment and facility integrity assessments, and system analysis\nPerform standard engineering analysis/calculations and designs (e.g., site layout, piping design, material specification) associated with small scale complex or large-scale complex projects\nIndependently collate and analyze data within one area using pre-determined tools, methods, and formats to support the department's decision-making process\nExecute instructions and requests, plan and organize resources and make appropriate arrangements to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and in line with relevant policies and processes\nDevelop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and share information that will benefit the client.\nUndertake specific tasks of varying complexity to support colleagues in the design of technical solutions\nBuild upon technical/professional skills within own area of specialty or of other processes to continually grow your contribution to the business\nConduct specific projects within area of capability and perform engineering studies, analysis, and investigations to recommend corrective action in problem areas, or to prevent problems\nWill review completed assignments by other drafters/designers for accuracy and completeness and will perform inter-disciplinary reviews of designs and drawings to confirm design compatibility\nPosition requires the technical supervision of other drafters/designers.
