You’ll liaise with other internal professionals and design departments for project delivery and coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices both domestic and international.\n\nYou’ll have the opportunity to grow technically and professionally as you gain more experience and expand your leadership role within the organization.\n\nKey contributions\n\nPerforming a variety of analysis\n\nCreating computer models for structures\n\nPerforming calculations for member designs and foundations, material take‑offs for estimating, preparation of miscellaneous calculations, assisting with schedules, etc.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering\n\nAt least 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering\n\nRegistered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states\n\nPre‑cast building / garage experience\n\nKnowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D\n\nProficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD\n\nKnowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry relevant design code and standards\n\nKnowledge and application of Building Codes\n\nProficiency with MS Office suite software including MS Teams for remote coordination\n\nAbility for travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel)\n\nIdeally, you’ll also have\n\nMaster of Science in Engineering\n\nExperience with industrial metals projects including casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industrial projects\n\nAbility to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations\n\nBenefits\nOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
