With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.\nWe are currently searching for Off Shift Controls Engineer to join our team at our Fremont Plant in Fremont, Ohio.\n\nWhat you will do:\nProactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to support and improve efficiency of the manufacturing facilities\nWork with plant operational teams to facilitate continuous improvement efforts related to electrical and instrumentation performance\nParticipate in project teams and all activities related to engineering technical support\nPLC programming, HMI programming, Vision System programming, and VFD configuration (Rockwell, Siemens, Cognex, Keyence, SEW, Lenze)\nDesign and implementation of electrical systems\nEvaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.\nConfirms systems and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods.\nDevelops electrical products by studying customer requirements and researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.\nPrepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.\nReviewing electrical engineering plans, specifications, and reports\nConducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment\nCollaborating with engineers and technicians\nProvides engineering information by answering questions and requests.\nKeeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures and requesting repair service.\nMaintains product database by writing computer programs and entering data.\nAny additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management\n\nWhat you will gain as a part of the Auria Team:\nAn opportunity to enroll in full medical, dental and vision plan.
