Executive Director

Willis Dady Homeless Services is seeking a visionary, values-driven Executive Director to lead our organization and advance meaningful, lasting solutions to homelessness in our community. Guided by our mission to empower individuals experiencing homelessness to build futures of self-sufficiency through advocacy, housing, and employment, The Executive Director serves as our chief executive, strategic leader, and public ambassador. The role works closely with the Board of Directors, staff, funders, and community partners to ensure Willis Dady remains a trusted and effective leader in our local response to homelessness. What You’ll Do• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all programs and services. • Champion a trauma-informed, equity-centered organizational culture. • Ensure strong financial stewardship, compliance, and long-term sustainability. • Lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts alongside staff and Board leadership. • Build and strengthen partnerships across nonprofits, government, and the broader community. • Service as a visible advocate for housing-first, people-centered solutions. • Inspire, support, and develop a dedicated leadership team and staff.What We’re Looking For• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field) • 7+ years of progressive nonprofit leadership experience (human services, housing, or homelessness preferred). • Strong financial acumen and experience overseeing budgets and organizational risk. • Demonstrated success in fundraising and donor stewardship. • Experience working collaboratively with Boards of Directors and community stakeholders. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking and executive presence. • Deep alignment with values of equity, inclusion, integrity, and meeting people where they are.Why Join Willis Dady?This is an opportunity to lead a mission-rooted organization with deep community roots and make a lasting impact on homelessness in our region.
