Fuel Truck DriverWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Fuel Truck Driver. If you're interested in joining an established and growing company with opportunities for career advancement, we encourage you to apply and grow with us!A Fuel Truck Driver typically performs a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates. The Fuel Truck Driver will be running and operating a fuel truck which requires a Class 'A' CDL license with a HAZMAT and tanker endorsement. The Fuel Truck Driver may also drive a tri-axel truck and trailer for the asphalt/paving operations Team.What you will do:Apply DOT regulation knowledge to the execution of driving dutiesDrives the tank truck to transport fuel for construction projects, delivering gasoline, fuel oil, and lubricating oilReads gauges and meters to record and ensure proper amount of fuel is loadedKnowledge with chaining and binding of equipment being transported. (DOT)Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicle before operationResponsible for daily maintenance of vehicle to remain in proper and safe working orderResponsible for notifying supervisor if vehicle needs to be repairedInsert pipe in refilled trenches and other excavationsDrive truck equipped with sprinkling attachment to settle dust on roadways and streetsSaturate flexible base for compactionDrive tri-axel truck and trailerDriver/Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.Perform incidental work items and duties included within other craftsWhat you will need: (Minimum qualifications)To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Key Duty satisfactorily.
