The focus areas include event-driven design, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, React, Elastic search, and either RabbitMQ or Kafka.\nJob duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:\nDesign and Development\nDevelop microservices using Spring Boot.\nCreate responsive user interfaces using React.\nApply event-driven design principles to build scalable and resilient applications.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.\nMessage Brokers\nImplement message producers and consumers.\nWork with RabbitMQ for message queuing and event streaming.\nIf experience is in Kafka, understand the architectural differences between RabbitMQ and Kafka.\nDeployment and Infrastructure\nMonitor and troubleshoot production systems.\nOptimize application performance and scalability.\nDeploy microservices to Kubernetes clusters, utilizing CI/CD pipeline.\nQuality Assurance\nConduct system testing and debugging activities.\nWrite unit tests with a goal of 85% coverage and participate in peer code reviews.\nDocumentation and Communication\nDesign shall include sequence diagram for major use cases.\nDocument technical specifications, architecture, and design decisions.\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliverables.\nMinimum Qualifications – must meet ALL:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field (as determined by the client).\nExperience with the following:\nFront-end utilizing React is preferred, or Angular is highly desired.\nRabbitMQ or Kafka for message queuing.\nElastic search.\nMust have the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.\nMust possess excellent verbal communication skills.\nKnowledge of the use of design patterns.\nKnowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.\nExperience with RESTful APIs and web services.\nProficiency in event-driven design principles is required\nMust be able to work onsite for three days per week in Annapolis, Maryland.\nHeadquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, SYSCOM, Inc. is a US-based company whose mission is to create and deliver the right technology solutions, by teaming with our customers to understand their business needs and empower them to achieve their goals.
