Network Engineer","description":"Job Title: OT Network Engineer\nLocation: Onsite – Pennsylvania / West Virginia\nDuration: Contract\nWe are seeking an experienced OT (Operational Technology) Network Engineer to support industrial network environments within the oil & gas sector.\nThis role will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing network infrastructure across field sites and operational facilities.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA environments, and network technologies supporting critical infrastructure.\nThis is a fully onsite role supporting multiple locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, configure, and support OT network infrastructure across plant and field environments\nMaintain and troubleshoot networks supporting SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems\nEnsure network reliability, performance, and uptime for operational systems\nImplement and support network security best practices within OT environments\nWork closely with operations, engineering, and IT teams to support production systems\nMonitor network performance and respond to incidents and outages\nSupport network segmentation, firewalls, and secure remote access solutions\nDocument network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong experience in OT/ICS network environments (Oil & Gas preferred)\nHands-on experience with SCADA systems and industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, etc.)\nSolid networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP)\nExperience with firewalls and network security in OT environments\nFamiliarity with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies\nAbility to troubleshoot complex network and system issues in production environments\nWillingness to travel locally between sites (if required)\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in upstream, midstream, or downstream oil & gas operations\nKnowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISA/IEC 62443)\nCertifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent\nExperience working in regulated
