Carpenter / Scenic Fabricator Location: Arlington, TX (DFW Metroplex) Prop House Design is a creative fabrication studio specializing in large-scale props, seasonal décor, and custom installations for hotels, casinos, theme parks, and experiential marketing events nationwide. We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter to help build custom structures, scenic elements, and one-off installations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creative, hands-on work and problem-solving—not standard construction or residential carpentry. Responsibilities: Build custom wooden structures, frames, and scenic elements Read and interpret shop drawings, sketches, and design concepts Work with a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, dimensional lumber, and specialty substrates Collaborate with welders, sculptors, and painters to complete builds Safely operate hand and power tools Assist with installation prep and general warehouse tasks as needed Travel occasionally for on-site installations Requirements: Experience in carpentry, fabrication, or scenic construction Strong understanding of measurements, layout, and structure Comfortable working on large-scale, custom projects Ability to work in a warehouse environment Must be able to commute to our Arlington, TX warehouse Open to occasional travel Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented Email your resume and samples of your work to info@prophousedesign.com Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $20.00 - $29.99 per hour Work Location: In person
