{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9bdecf081fc408251cdc71d4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9bdecf081fc408251cdc71d4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9bdecf081fc408251cdc71d4","title":"ServiceNow Developer","description":"ServiceNow Developer\r\nLocation: UK - Mobile England | Job-ID: 217444 | Contract type: Standard | Business Unit: ServiceNow\r\nLife on the team\r\nAs a Service Delivery Consultant, you'll be engaged at customer level in delivering support for ServiceNow through all phases of its lifecycle.\r\nYou'll have the opportunity to work across all business sectors with an array of customers and Computacenter teams.\r\nSuccess is defined by the Service Delivery Consultant's ability to work with the wider Service Delivery team and key customer stakeholders in order to support, enhance (through development), manage and maintain a large number of ServiceNow environments.\r\nYou'll be an integral part of the team, helping us move forward during a period of growth whilst assisting with defining new support offerings to take to market, and ensuring our current offerings remain relevant to our customer base.\r\nWhat you'll do\r\nDeliver and support high-quality ServiceNow solutions, offering expert guidance across the Now Platform.\r\nEnsure adherence to coding and design standards, contribute to documentation, and support knowledge transfer.\r\nTroubleshoot complex issues, manage escalations, and maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.\r\nMentor colleagues in areas of expertise and contribute to the development of internal standards and best practices.\r\nStay current with platform capabilities to advise customers on roadmap alignment and feature adoption.\r\nIdentify opportunities for service improvement and potential upsell based on customer needs.\r\nParticipate in peer reviews, customer meetings, and the transition of implementations into business-as-usual support.\r\nContinuously develop your technical skills through training, certifications, and collaboration with the wider team.\r\nWhat you'll need\r\nEligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) is essential.\r\n3+ years of experience in a ServiceNow support or technical delivery role, with a strong focus on incident management and platform maintenance.\r\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\r\nSolid understanding of the ServiceNow platform, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and minor development.\r\nA customer-first mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.\r\nServiceNow System Administrator certification (minimum), with at least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification preferred.\r\nOrganised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.\r\nOther relevant ServiceNow accreditations/micro certifications.\r\nProven experience of custom integration development.\r\nTransferrable skills from previous employment and a knowledge of how these will prove beneficial in this role.\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science or closely related discipline.\r\nITIL Certification.\r\nAvailability to manage customers outside of the UK & Ireland region.\r\nExcellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.\r\nAdditional information\r\nCountry: UK\r\nLocation: Flexible within the UK\r\nHours: Full-time\r\nRole Type: Permanent\r\nAbout us\r\nWe are a leading independent technology and services provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations.
