Dog Walker / Pack Walker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pack Walker to join our team. This role is perfect for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and have experience in pet care. As a Pack Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of dogs during their walks, providing them with exercise, companionship, and care. Your ability to handle various breeds and sizes of dogs will be essential in delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for both the pets and their owners. Responsibilities Walk dogs in various weather conditions while ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain control of multiple dogs at all times using proper handling techniques. Provide basic care during walks administering a safe walking experience, providing water and cleaning up after pets. Monitor the behavior of dogs during walks to ensure they are healthy and happy. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of each dog’s walking schedule, preferences, and any special needs. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as carrying supplies or helping with larger breeds. Qualifications Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel worker, or in a similar role is preferred. Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. Ability to drive a large motorized vehicle safely. Ability to perform animal restraint safely when needed. Experience in pet care or pet sitting is a plus. Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and long periods of walking. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both pets, our team and their owners.
