Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.\n\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities\n\nAssist with validation activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ testing for new mold tools or equipment\nMeasure parts, perform functional testing, perform data analysis, and write qualification report\n5S Production Floor\nTape out area using 5S principles for proper flow and safety in production.\nSet up new conveyor systems for use in production.\nDetermine ways to reduce conversion costs\nOrganize WIP and Finished Goods areas\nCollect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.\nIdentify and propose solutions for process improvements in assembly or quality lab operations to increase quality and/or throughput.\nAid in root cause analysis of CAPAs utilizing tools like pareto charts and fishbone diagrams\nPrepare and update work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation and Experience Requirements\n\n Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field\n\nSkills and Abilities\n\n• Proficient in 3D CAD Design software (SolidWorks preferred)\n\n• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\n\n• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP and IQMS preferred)\n\n• Willing to be hands on in the manufacturing facility\n\n• Excellent verbal and written communication\n\n• Self-Motivated and the ability to multitask\n\nWorking Conditions and Physical Demands\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
