In this role, you will be responsible for leading the structural engineering design and delivery of a wide variety of projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from concept development through construction completion. You will serve as a technical leader on projects, applying sound engineering judgment to develop practical, efficient design solutions while ensuring quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.\nThe Senior Engineer will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams to coordinate design efforts, resolve technical challenges, and support successful project execution. Depending on project needs and experience, you may serve as Project Manager and/or Engineer of Record. As our Loudoun office continues to expand, there will be opportunities to take on increasing responsibility, influence the growth of the team, and ultimately transition into a future Engineering Supervisor role.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, building client relationships, and helping shape the future of a growing office and organization.\nResponsibilities:\nInteracts with clients attending client, architect, and contractor meetings, reviewing structural documentation, and supervising/mentoring junior staff.\nOversight of design calculations, preparation of the construction documents, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, site reviews, and RFI responses.\nCoordinates information across all disciplines to ensure deliverables are compliant with client expectations and our quality standards.\nPerforms QA/QC of work performed by others.\nMentors and provides oversight to engineering team.
