Our mission is to build strong relationships with our customers by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.About the RoleThe Customer Service Representative assists sales and management in all tasks relating to customer service and customer satisfaction. They also provide general office and administrative support to other departments and management.ResponsibilitiesDistribute, forward, or answer customer faxes, emails, and web inquiries accordinglyUpdate customer portals as needed (e.g. open order reports, expedites, pull in/push outs, renew tokens etc.)Manage web order activity by review of daily order confirmations and the action of reallocations, expedites, cancellations, return authorizations, etc.Work customer open order reports. Review pull in/ push out requests. Advise accordingly.Coordinate vendor expedites/ communications with the purchasing team.Expedite or change schedule of an item on a sales order (accelerated schedules only)Send customers C of C or packing slips if requestedComplete customer surveys/formsReview daily UPS notifications and advise sales of any updatesPrepare and mail form letters, line cards and other related documentsAnswer central telephone system and direct calls accordinglyReceive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or departmentVarious office work, (e.g. daily attendance, ordering calendars, ordering food, sending flowers etc.)Assume additional responsibilities as requested by management QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredTwo years of customer service experience preferredGood organization skillsAttention to detailAccurate typing and Data Entry skillsAccurate filing skills.Able to multi-taskGood inter-personal skillsAble to work in a fast-paced department Physical RequirementsHand dexterity ability (ability to operate telephone, computer)Ability to sit for extended periods of time Work AuthorizationThis position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the international Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Compensation: $22.11-$26.92 per hour depending on experience
