We're on a roll-come join us!\r\nProduction Material Handler Summary\r\nAs a Material Handler you are responsible for efficiently and effectively wrapping, bundling, labeling, palletizing, packaging, transporting and storing finished goods produced on the production lines. Keeps the production lines cleared of finished items to promote machine efficiency. Assigns lot numbers and records item numbers, item quantities, units of measure (UOM) and locations. Material Handlers are responsible for multiple tasks in production and warehouse.\r\nFunctions/Responsibilities\r\nConduct, behavior and actions in accordance with Oxco core values of Caring, Creativity, Determination, Dependability and Teamwork\r\nUtilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners and barcodes to process customer orders, receive product and relocate items throughout the warehouse\r\nStage raw materials from the warehouse to the production line\r\nConsolidates and stores raw and finished goods in their proper locations\r\nSafely storing material and supplies\r\nQuality inspection of incoming and outgoing orders\r\nPerform cycle counts on raw and / or finished inventory and participate in all scheduled physical Inventories\r\nShrink wrap machine to prepare finished goods for shipment\r\nTransport completed production into warehouse or staging areas for shipment to customers\r\nUse bar code scanner to properly record storage locations\r\nMaintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and working areas including the outside perimeter of the building around docks, common areas and landscaping\r\nAssist in the training of new employees as directed by leadership team\r\nIdentify and communicate any safety concerns and report any property damage\r\nPerform and document daily forklift (PIT) and equipment inspections\r\nFlexibility to train and work in multiple areas\r\nRaise any issues or concerns that arise day to day work to the Supervisor, Plant Manager, or President\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nQualifications\r\nEducation: High School or GED\r\nExperience: 1 year of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment preferred\r\nForklift clamp and carpet pole experience preferred\r\nLicense or Certification:\r\nAbility to obtain forklift or PIT certification as designated by OXCO to safely operate any powered equipment essential to the job function\r\nSkills:\r\n- High attention to detail accuracy in entering data and in communicating information with others; ability to see errors and identify inconsistencies\r\n- Collaboration Work effectively with other personnel to achieve established outcomes and resolve issues\r\n- Dependability - consistent attendance is required and rewarded\r\nThis job requires the ability to stand and walk most of the shift. Must be able to reach, push and pull 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
