delivery leader responsible for successful execution of a portfolio of complex, customer-facing programs at Thermo Systems.\nIn this role, you will lead delivery from contract award through engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning/start-up, and project closeout—ensuring predictable outcomes across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.\nYou will serve as the executive-level interface for customers, establishing trust through transparent communication, strong governance, and consistent delivery performance.\nYou will partner closely with Commercial, Engineering, Operations, and Field leadership to align commitments, proactively manage risk, and continuously improve Thermo Systems’ project delivery system.\nThis role also plays a key part in environments and bring strong operational, financial, and customer leadership to large-scale automation and controls integration programs.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProgram & Portfolio Leadership:\nOwn delivery performance across a portfolio of programs/projects, including safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.\nLead execution from project kickoff through closeout, ensuring readiness, planning discipline, and effective handoffs.\nDrive consistent, predictable outcomes across multiple concurrent programs\nCustomer Leadership & Governance:\nServe as the executive-level customer interface for delivery.\nEstablish governance cadence including steering committees and executive reviews.\nCommunicate progress, risks, and decisions with clarity and transparency.\nBuild strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders\nExecutive & Cross-Functional Leadership:\nLead cross-functional execution across Project Management, Engineering, Electrical, Panel Fabrication, Supply Chain, Quality, Installation, Finance, and Commissioning.\nAlign internal teams around delivery strategy, priorities, and performance expectations.\nEnsure effective coordination across office, shop, and field environments\nCommercial Alignment & Delivery Strategy:\nPartner with Commercial teams to ensure seamless transition from pre-award to execution.\nTranslate scope, assumptions, and estimates into executable delivery strategies.\nEnsure commitments are realistic, risk-balanced, and aligned with customer expectations\nFinancial & Program Controls:\nEstablish and maintain program controls including integrated schedules and cost tracking.\nDrive cost-to-complete (CTC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC) forecasting accuracy.\nMonitor financial performance, margin, and cash flow across programs.\nEnsure consistent portfolio-level reporting and performance visibility\nRisk, Change & Issue Management:\nLead program-level risk, issue, and dependency management.\nEstablish escalation paths and drive timely decision-making.\nMaintain strong scope and change control practices.\nEnsure proper documentation and commercial alignment of changes.\nProtect margin and improve financial outcomes through disciplined execution\nQuality, Safety & Continuous Improvement:\nChampion a strong safety and quality culture across all phases of execution.\nReinforce compliance with Thermo Systems standards and processes.\nLead retrospectives and root-cause analysis to improve delivery performance.\nDrive improvements in estimating, engineering execution, field productivity, and commissioning outcomes\nLeadership & Talent Development:\nCoach and develop Program Managers, Project Managers, and functional leaders.\nStrengthen leadership capability across delivery teams.\nBuild a scalable, high-performing program delivery organization.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience).\n10+ years of progressive leadership experience delivering complex, customer-facing programs/projects.\nExperience leading programs with field installation, commissioning, and start-up components.\nDemonstrated success managing multiple concurrent, high-value programs.\nPMP or equivalent program/project management certification.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nStrong experience in controls systems integration (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, industrial networking, instrumentation, electrical systems).\nExecutive presence with the ability to influence customer and internal leadership.\nProven financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting (CTC/EAC), and margin management.\nStrong program controls and operational discipline.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution.\nExcellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to travel regularly to customer sites.\nExperience in Thermo Systems’ core markets (energy, life sciences, manufacturing, mission critical, or
