Implement front-end features using JavaScript and CSS.Work with Apache Struts frameworks to enhance and maintain existing applications.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to meet project milestones and ensure quality.Follow US Federal Government security and development standards, documentation requirements, and best practices.QualificationsA degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.5+ years of experience in Java development.Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS and Apache Struts.Proficiency in object-oriented programming and enterprise application development.Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).Familiarity with JSP, Tomcat, or related web technologies is a PLUS.Knowledge of Agile methodologies.Solid understanding of secure coding practices and application hardening.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).Must be to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance.Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years.
