Job Summary:The Litigation Paralegal is responsible for supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation by managing case documentation, preparing legal filings, maintaining court deadlines, and assisting with legal research and client communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate case management, timely filings, and efficient legal operations within a fast-paced litigation environment.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare, proofread, and manage legal correspondence, pleadings, and other litigation documents• File pleadings electronically with Federal and State Courts and governmental agencies• Maintain case dockets, calendars, and litigation deadlines• Conduct legal research using web-based legal research applications• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and governmental agencies• Assist attorneys with case preparation and document organization• Manage assignments for multiple attorneys and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines• Maintain accurate and organized case files and legal records• Support attorneys in time-sensitive litigation matters and administrative tasksMinimum Education & Experience Requirements• Associate degree and formal paralegal education preferred• Minimum of 5–10 years of paralegal or related litigation experience required• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be consideredSpecial Requirements• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently• Strong professionalism when interacting with clients, courts, and opposing parties• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Strong proofreading and document review capabilities with high attention to detailKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Experience with web-based case management and legal research platforms such as MyCase and Lexis• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Excellent organizational and time management abilities• Strong interpersonal and client service skills• High level of accuracy and attention to detailAdditional Details• Job Type: Full-time• Work Location: In-person• Salary Range: Starting from $60,000 annuallyBenefits• 401(k) plan• Health insurance• Dental insurance• Vision insurance• Paid time offWork EnvironmentThis position operates in an in-person office setting and requires collaboration with multiple attorneys and legal professionals.
