Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Services

Full-time position 7:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. 4-5 days/week (M-F), generally 32 hrs/ week, may on occasion be asked to work a 5th day No weekends or major holidays. Patient care includes Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, performing EKG's, Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter monitors and some respiratory testing. Responsible for patient assessment, education, monitoring patients during exercise sessions, and collaborating with colleagues to form an individualized plan of care for our patients. Requirements Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred. Must have a Registered Nurse License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. Must have BLS & ACLS certifications. Experience in the cardiovascular field preferred. Must be capable of communicating clearly (reading, writing and speaking) in the English Language. Must be capable of reading and comprehending written policies/procedures and operation/maintenance instructions. Must have the ability to receive and relay phone or other business related messages. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, use hands, reach, walk, bend, kneel, crouch/squat, twist, maintain balance, grasp and use keyboard. Vision: specific abilities for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, color vision, seeing fine details. Hearing: specific abilities required for this position include hearing normal speech, hearing overhead pages, telephone use, verbal communication in the English language. Required Lifting - Employee must have the ability to lift 20 lbs. routinely.
