Job Title Sales LeadLocation RemoteTime Zone Core Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Central Time (CT)Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to own and build the end-to-end revenue engine for a growing SMB-focused accounting firm. This is a 0-to-1 role — you're not supporting sales, you are the growth. You'll close long-term clients, improve the sales process, implement automation and AI, and help transition the business from a project-based model to a predictable monthly recurring revenue (MRR) model. If you've scaled a services business before and thrive in a scrappy, high-ownership environment, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the full sales cycle — pipeline, closing, onboarding handoff, and retention/expansionBuild and optimize an MRR-first model with tight packaging, pricing, and scope boundariesPersonally implement automation and AI tools to increase monthly closes and sales efficiencyLead sales meetings, ops meetings, scorecard reviews, and monthly KPI reviews with the OwnerManage and develop direct reports — Lead Qualifier and Operations AnalystBuild and maintain SOPs, templates, and checklists to ensure repeatable, scalable resultsTrack and report KPIs including MRR mix, client retention, close rate, and pipeline coverageDevelop referral and partner channels (accounting firms, CFOs, attorneys, lenders, brokers, etc.)Maintain a strong Google Maps presence and client-facing visibilityHandle sensitive client and company information with strict confidentialityRequired QualificationsProven 0→1 sales track record — you have scaled a services business from early stage to $1M–$5M in revenueExperience selling monthly recurring services such as bookkeeping, accounting, fractional CFO, IT managed services, or similarDemonstrated team leadership experience managing teams of 3–10 peopleStrong scorecard discipline — you manage performance through KPIs and numbersExperience managing distributed or global teams across time zonesComfortable in a lean, fast-moving environment with minimal management layersExperience working with US-based clientsPreferred QualificationsBackground in building or managing referral and partner channelsPrior experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or B2B professional services salesFamiliarity with transitioning businesses from one-off project models to recurring revenueTools & TechnologyClickUp, Canopy, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Meet, Drive)QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, DigitsUltraTax / Pro ConnectAI and automation tools for sales workflowsCRM and sales engagement platformsPlease NOTE It is crucial that you complete the application form in full.
