The role involves applying measurement and test data analysis, materials support, and inputting and querying the Special Operations Foreign Language Office (SOFLO) and Language Operations (LANGOPS) databases to assess and analyze language training database statistics; thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the unit Language Training Program. The Analyst will collect and synchronize all data and databases from subordinate units to conduct consolidated analysis and compile required reports. The Analyst will develop new procedures and improve current procedures as needed. The Analyst contractor shall be responsible for managing all paperwork and procedures to assist the unit in changing Control Languages for applicable SOF personnel through Service processes.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nAssist in the management of the unit's Advanced Language Training to include Live Environment Training (LET) and Operational Language Exchange (OLE).\r\nManage, create, and coordinate the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) for Soldiers attending LETs and OLEs.\r\nBe familiar with and understand the Electronic Foreign Clearance Guide as it applies to APACS country and theater clearance.\r\nBe familiar with the CONOP Process for LETs and OLEs IAW 1st SFC(A) Regulation 350-1.\r\nAssist the CSU(s) with OCONUS tutor requests in support of Advanced Language Training (ALT).\r\nAssist Soldiers with University Program registration as part of the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO).\r\nCompile post Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) ratings following ALT participation.\r\nAssess and analyze the SOFLO and LANGOPS database statistics to enhance the effectiveness of the unit LREC Training Program.\r\nCompile data and enter DA Form 330 into the SOFLO Database to track and manage all proficiency levels for the unit.\r\nUnderstand and apply all relevant Service and local policies that affect language testing; draft changes to policy to better support 1st SFC (A).\r\nDraft and review documentation, provide recommendations, and correct all 1st SFC (A) language-related administrative material.\r\nCompile data, prepare reports, and create presentations suitable for senior audiences (military grades O5 to O6). Proficient with data entry, database maintenance, MS Office applications, and local area networks.\r\nFunction as an OPI and Test proctor as needed.\r\nCollect and synchronize all data and databases from subordinate commands and work seamlessly with the senior-level Program Manager & Data Analyst.\r\nManage paperwork and procedures to assist 1st SFC (A) in changing Control Languages (CLANGs) for assigned Special Forces, Civil Affairs, and Psychological Operations Soldiers through Human Resources Command (HRC).\r\nServe as the Site Lead.\r\nCoordinate sustainment enhancement training (SET).\r\nProvide input for the LangOps database.\r\nManage Sustainment Enhance Training (SET) Language Cycles.\r\nPerform any other LREC task that the Government Representative deems necessary.\r\nQualifications\r\nGraduated high school or possesses a GED, or has 5 years' experience managing DOD LREC programs.\r\nAt least 2 years' experience working on personnel issues.\r\nProficient in all current Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.\r\nExperience performing tasks listed above.\r\nUS citizenship required.\r\nSecret clearance required.\r\nAbility to interact professionally with administration, faculty, Soldiers, and all personnel.\r\nEffective use of diplomacy, tact, and judgment.\r\nAbility to work well independently; demonstrated creativity, self-discipline, and organization; and ability to search and understand new technologies and their potential.\r\nCONUS travel might be required to conduct LREC testing.\r\nLocations\r\nFort Campbell, Kentucky\r\nFort Carson, Colorado\r\nLewis McChord, Washington\r\nBirmingham, Alabama\r\nCamp Williams, Utah\r\nNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
