We have expertise and specialist knowledge, and processes to identify and correct areas for improvement to strive for efficient and excellent work every time.\nResponsibilities\nDesign\nHVAC temperature control systems\nLighting and access controls systems\nResponsible for projects, start to finish, with kickoff, submittal drawings, 30% 90% and closeout\nResponsible for independently designing complex projects\nFocus on design to add or improve the energy conservation\nControls for HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handling units, heat recovery and terminal units\nBAS system design for HVAC, Lighting and Access control systems using the Delta Controls\nAnalysis and Estimation\nPrepare cost estimates for control systems for commercial, industrial and institutional HVAC systems\nDesign/build budgeting\nEnergy utilization conservation calculations\nManage labor budget\nComplete re-estimation, RFI, and change orders\nCommunication\nWork with customers to collect the key information needed to ensure the finished design meets their needs, as well as helping them understand options and benefits from the finished systems.\nLearn from coworkers to increase knowledge of technical and design information and participate in training other departments on pertinent matters\nCollaborate with account managers on construction estimates and proposal writing\nRegularly update your manager of progress, concerns, and encumbrances,\nTraining and Development\nStudy and use our robust internal resources including training materials, previously created designs, specific training classes and modules, and vendor training classes and materials\nGain or maintain expert knowledge of our Delta product line and equipment including BACnet protocols and associated controls devices\nCollaborate with expert coworkers and managers on increasingly complex and challenging projects\n\nDesired Qualifications include:\n\nBS in mechanical engineering strongly encouraged, and/or 10+ years’ experience in building control systems and/or equivalent HVAC knowledge\nAdvanced knowledge of HVAC and product and systems equipment and specs\nWorking knowledge of DDC, electric and pneumatic control systems\nAnalytical and organizational skills\nWillingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment\nExcellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting\nPreferred Credentials:\nLEED GA/AP\nCEM\nPE and association with ASHRAE\n\nJob Parameters\nOn site position - we have offices in Littleton, south of Denver, and in Colorado Springs.
