As a key leader in our EMEA Development team, you will provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and operational leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nOversee the technical construction aspects of multiple data centre projects across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with company objectives, the approved basis of design, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport design and engineering stakeholders during pre-construction with input on constructability and construction sequencing.\nResponsible for the implementation of the approved basis of design, escalating to internal stakeholders where appropriate.\nProvide expert guidance on design, engineering, and construction methodologies, ensuring best practices and innovation in the delivery of hyperscale data centres.\nLead and support project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, to drive efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.\nEstablish and maintain robust governance structures, ensuring adherence to contractual, financial, and compliance obligations.\nDevelop and implement technical strategies to optimize construction performance, mitigate risks, and enhance project delivery.\nWork closely with design, engineering, and other internal/external teams to ensure seamless integration of construction activities with overall project development.\nDrive value engineering initiatives to enhance cost efficiency while maintaining performance and sustainability goals.\nFunction as the primary technical liaison between construction teams, executive leadership, and external partners.\nFoster a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence across all projects.\nMonitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continuously improve construction processes and methodologies.\nRequirements Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nProven track record in technical leadership within data centre construction, large-scale infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities within EMEA.\n10+ years in the data centre construction space.\nStrong background in construction management, MEP systems, and mission-critical infrastructure .\nExtensive knowledge of data centre design principles, building codes, and industry best practices.\nExperience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects from pre-construction to commissioning and handover.\nStrong leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.\nExcellent communication skills and proficiency in spoken and written English.
